Solve if you are genius

Only 1 percent people can solve it and so on.  Never the less I had an urge to check if I am a genius or among 1 percent of the people so always wanted to answer them.

 The questions are so easy that most of the people were able to answer them. The challenge was to answer them correctly and still be different from the rest.  By looking at the question, most people can answer it as 36.

(1+1) * (1+1) = 4

(2+2) * (2+2) = 16

So (3+3) * (3+3) will be 36.

But not 36 !
